Back off! Valerie Bertinelli was seriously annoyed with Eric Stonestreet while watching her ex-husband Eddie Van Halen and the rest of Van Halen rock out at Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday night, March 30, in Los Angeles.
“Went to see Van Halen tonight on @jimmykimmel and this rando lady kept getting in my way. #ugh @wolfiesmom,” Stonestreet captioned a video showing the back of Bertinelli’s head as she rocked out while watching her ex and son Wolfgang Van Halen perform. Stonestreet jokingly asked the rockstar mom to “move out of the way, please?” at which point she turned and gave him some major side-eye before stepping out of the frame.
The evening was an eventful one for lead singer David Lee Roth as well. During the gig, his first on TV since rejoining the group in 2007, the singer smacked his nose on his microphone and had to stop performing to get taped up.
After recovering from the snafu, which interrupted the first song of the night, “Panama,” the group performed several other hits, including “Runnin’ With the Devil” and “Dance the Night Away.”
As for Bertinelli and the Modern Family star? They were simply kidding. The Hot in Cleveland actress retweeted his post with: “Hehehe. #ugh indeed.”
